Donating & Support for UYMC

There are a variety of challenges placed before our teenagers and young adults every single day. These rudimentary barriers may become the bedrock of mediocrity and might serve as strongholds against potential success. In light of such tragic and slow changing truths, United Youth Marine Cadets (UYMC) provides extracurricular youth enrichment services for New York City, Westchester and Ft. Lauderdale youth ages 9 - 20 from all five boroughs. Our program focuses on five key components that will ultimately increase the likelihood of success in the future of our youth: character development, leadership training, military customs and courtesies, community service and physical fitness.

Our mission is to lessen the burdens of government by informing, engaging and encouraging America's youth to live healthy, balanced and confident lives by raising their mental, physical and financial goals as positive and productive citizens of the United States of America. UYMC and its staff are not recruiters for the United States military. We do, however, demand that our cadets earn their high school diploma, carry themselves with honor and dignity, and strive to be extraordinary achievers through all their endeavors.

We sincerely hope that you can support us with a contribution to keep our youth OUT OF GANGS, suppress the high school drop-out rate, teen pregnancy, bullying, and low grades. Unfortunately, we are not funded by the United States Marine Corps, the Department of Defense or any government agencies. Your contribution will assist operational expenses of the program such as trips, certificates, manuals, band & drill team equipment and uniforms. All of our programs depend on grants and donations from individuals who believe in our mission.

To uphold the quality of our services to the youth in the great city of New York and their parents, we have set an audacious goal of raising $5,000 for FY2015-16.
